China CEOs to likely miss Xi’s US trip amid thin summit expectations

According to a report by SCMP… China will probably decide against inviting business leaders to join President Xi Jinping on his trip to the United States this week as the two countries struggle to reach investment agreements.
A lack of agreement about a planned bilateral Board of Investment and differences over potential Chinese investments in the US have put the business delegation in doubt, the South China Morning Post said, citing a person familiar with the situation.
